Sadly, I ended a life-long relationship with PETA over this very issue. I was never aware of their stand on the Pit Bulls until Best Friends brought it to my attention; when I questioned them, despite much talking around the subject, the reality is they DO advocate euthanasia of Pit Bulls. PETA does many wonderful things- but this is so antithetical to what we all stand for that I simply can't support any organization that believes in this. Pitties are wonderful and I am the proud owner of one adopted from Best Friends- way to go!!!
